South Korea ~ The Fallout Begins
Seoul is the capital city of the Republic of Korea, in the Western capitals better known as South Korea.
It is a highly prosperous free market western economy, was closely allied to the USA.
That is, unti the Trump era.
Trump has strained relations with South Korea, and a low point came during the Trump presidency 2016-2020 when Trump was not categoric in America’s military assistance to Seoul in the event that North Korea tried its hand and invaded.
Trump is an autocrat, a dictator at heart, doing what all dictators do, using the tools of liberal democacy and freedom to then remove all democracy and freedom, at which point the door is slammed shut.
In the 47th presidency, a very long dark night has descended upon America, long ago losing its right to the accolade USA.
Much depended on what President Bidenwould and couldl do, to overcome this development and the mishandling of Korea by Trump and to safeguard the People of the Republic of Korea (South Korea).
Seoul is now torn between maintaining its ties with the America or affirming its ties with China.
China will not give in on this. China’s foreign policy demands that the whole of the Korean peninsula be aligned with China and no other country.
All because of a man so possessed with self-glory and reality TV show mentality, incapable of handling even security and intelligence briefs; a man who, even now, refuses to concede that he lost the 2020 election and takes American politics further into the mire by refusing the President-Elect and his team access to Intelligence.
The American people have much to answer for, both to the world in general as a result of the massive destabilisation that has taken place in international politics since 2016, and again in 2025 and personally for, yet again, believing that Hollywood and TV celebrity is the cause celebre.
It is difficult to believe that in just four years, this situation could have been allowed to develop. It is even more worrying, that Americans brought Trump back to the Whitehouse.
The 47th rabbited on in his greatly restricted state visit about the English-Speaking Peoples. The Apprenctice missed the point. Or more accuraetly, the sppech-writers did. The English-Speaking Peoples do not include America. They never have. The American-Speaking People do their own thing, potter about their fifty states convinced they have worldwide views even though the majority still do not hold valid passports to allow travel beyond their borders.
They stand separate from, and distinct to, the English-Speaking Peoples ~ a vast Commonwealth of 57 Nations.
There is no credible opposition to the trump government. And now we have nighttime arrests, families rent asunder and deported, the very same thing that Russia - that country and Putin that man that Trump admires and just cannot bring himself to go beyond his monosyllabic responses to questions about what we term high diplomacy.
